Meet Dr. Gascoigne
Dr. Gascoigne received her BS degree, Magna Cum Laude in Chemistry from Howard University in Washington D.C. She then pursued a career in dentistry also at Howard University, where she received her DDS degree. She was the recipient of several awards during her academic career. She was recognized for outstanding achievement in Operative Dentistry with the Dr. I. Langston Manley Award. She also received a Certificate of Merit from the American Academy of Oral and Maxillofacial Radiology.
After her general dental education, she then completed a one year General Practice Residency at Mount Sinai Medical Center in Miami Beach, FL. Dr. Gascoigne along with her fellow residents from Mount Sinai Medical Center also presented at the Annual Miami Winter Meeting held in Miami. She immediately engaged in a two year residency, in the specialty of Endodontics at Nova Southeastern University in Fort Lauderdale, FL. During her two year residency, she conducted and presented an individual research project at the American Association of Endodontics Annual Symposium in Anaheim, CA.
During her dental career, she has volunteered in several programs aimed at educating children in dental care in Columbia, MD and during her endodontic career, she has traveled to Guatemala and Israel (D.V.I.) where she provided endodontic care to the underserved.
After her endodontic training, she then practiced for a few years with well-respected and internationally known, Dr. Samuel O. Dorn in Plantation, FL. She finally realized her dream by taking over the practice of yet another well-respected endodontist, Dr. Alan C. Feldman who practiced in Roslyn Heights, NY for over 33 years. Dr. Gascoigne renovated the office into a state-of-the-art facility, with brand new equipment and a completely digital office.
Dr. Gascoigne is also a member of several professional organizations which include: the American Dental Association, the American Association of Endodontists, the Jamaica Dental Association, the New York State Dental Association, the Glen Cove Study Club and the Gold Coast Study Club.
Dr. Gascoigne is a very compassionate and knowledgeable practitioner, who prides herself for delivering the best care in a warm and friendly environment. She is also committed to being current with the latest in endodontic research as it relates to providing the highest level of endodontic care.
